Las Vegas Virgin Holidays

One of the most convenient ways to arrange a holiday to Las Vegas is by booking the entire trip through Virgin Holidays. By coupling your hotel with a flight on Virgin Atlantic, you can often find the best prices on room rates and airfares, and enjoy the ease of paying for everything in one go.

Virgin Atlantic is one of only two carriers that provide daily non-stop flights from London to Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport. Virgin’s daily flight from London Gatwick takes less than 11 hours and is by far one of the best ways to reach Vegas with the least amount of hassle. Virgin also offers non-stop service from Manchester to Vegas twice weekly on Sundays and Thursdays. Virgin Holidays works in conjunction with many of the Vegas Strip’s leading resorts to create vacation packages with something for everyone.

While Virgin works directly with more than 30 hotels in Las Vegas, it features a handful of ongoing special deals with some of the most popular resorts on the Strip.

The cheapest Virgin Holidays to Las Vegas include accommodation at Circus Circus, a favourite with families, kids and budget travellers. The rates offered are always for a limited time and change with the tourist seasons but in general, they offer between 20 and 35 per cent off the normal rack rates.

The packages offered by Virgin include airfare and either three or five nights’ accommodation in a standard room for two people. Weekend flights usually entail an additional charge but the packages often include freebies and discounts. A three-night stay at the Luxor, for example, might include complimentary internet access, use of the fitness centre and credit towards spa treatments.

In the mid-range price category, there are several great resorts available, including the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Planet Hollywood and the Cosmopolitan. Virgin’s Rock Star Service ensures a great experience from door to door, with use of the V-Room airport lounge at Gatwick and Manchester, dedicated destination concierges offering tips of Vegas travel and a free 60-page resort guide to Sin City. Kids are also treated like royalty throughout the journey.

It’s hard to find much to criticise about the holiday packages available from Virgin. You’ll have to pay more to travel over the weekend, but the travel dates are clearly stated on their website along with any restrictions or bonuses. Pay a little extra and you can usually upgrade to a nicer room.
